Thread: Bug? Levitating castle.

  1. #1

    Default Bug? Levitating castle.

Well, after taking Minas Morgul, Mordor besieged me at once. Well, nice, since it is a citadel so it is not so easy retake. Well, the battle is another story. What I noticed was the Inner Castle was levitating about the landscape, as the image attached shows.

It was not possible for any units to go in between the space though, they had to use the gate. But I could not put archers on the walls either. And the battle AI got all funky and did not know where to drive their ram.

    Bug?

EDIT: can a moderator please move this post to the Bug-forum? Too many tabs open, posted in the wrong place....

This is fixed with 1.1, if it is still happening, it isn't the mod.

well i have not seen it in 1.1 but saying that it is not the mods fault any more does not make sense as who know some places could have been missed

If it works for the vast majority then its not the mods fault, it is either your folder is screwed up or your computer.

Saw the same thing 1.1, but only with the Southern Eurpoean styled castles ("Dwarven") when trying a siege in SP custom battle. (The others are fine)

I had thought the auto loader sent all of the files to the right place, as my version is 1.1..... but if it didn't, is there a specific file name I can hunt down to verify? (As in a TATW castle file with a unique moniker?)

    Thanks.

Just tried to re-create it and it looked fine.... though I'm not sure which map I had selected before.

Does the map itself have an effect on placement..... if not, I'll leave my previous experience to "gremlins" in my computer .

If it can though, I'll go back and try to re-create it one map at a time.
