As much as I've gone to that site (one of the best I've seen for the subject), I've never stumbled upon his will before.Originally posted by Ravyn@May 24 2005, 03:56 AM

Interesting find, thanks.
I've read 5-6 books and even played a Nintendo on Napoleon & never saw anything about his Will before stumbling upon it here. Quite a interesting find indeed.

Didn't he thought religion was made to control the masses?1. I DIE in the Apostolical Roman religion, in the bosom of which I was born more than fifty years since.
Under the wing of Nihil - Under my claws; Farnan, Ummon, & Ecclesiastes.
Human beings will be happier — not when they cure cancer or get to Mars or eliminate racial prejudice or flush Lake Erie — but when they find ways to inhabit primitive communities again. That’s my utopia.

Very sad thing is he, gave 2 million francs to the Count of Montholon.
A man who we today believe killed Napoleon by arsenic poisoining.
It wasn't arsenic poisoning. He had traces of arsenic because of other reasons. He did not have enough arsenic in his body to kill a person. I think he gave Montholon the money because he remained a loyal friend till his final days.Originally posted by hannibal89@May 27 2005, 11:17 PM

yup it was arsenic poisoning.
The site says otherwise but a discovery thing i watched made it clear.
Listen:
Napoleon's body, when dug up and moved to paris was found to be intact.
The only thing that would make it intact was arsenic poisoning, death by arsenic, not mere traces of it.

also count de montholon's wife was napoleon's mistress
