I can assure you that the Goths did not fight with bare chests. Their armour were just as good as the Roman ones and looked kind of like it to. The misconception of "naked barbarians" has nothing to do with reality. Nice work, though.

Vlad, I know you are working hard on this mod and I like your variaty of units, but I have to concur with Joar: you kind of went off the limits of the reality. You mentioned a lot about "historicaly accurate" units, and now you're producing some realy 'interesting' units with even more weird weapons... Anyway, it's your mod and I know a lot of people will like it (maybe I'll give a try, too).

after force danube river in 376-377 year -goths like nation lost all.. allmost all weapons and any armour .. then in 378 year goths start revolt - and crach roman legions in battle under Adrianopol..

NORMAL weapons - this is barbarian tribes - wild tribes - barbarian warriors use in battle any weapon what they find in their village

But loosing your weapon doesn't mean running around with no clothes. If we speak in general cultural terms, the Goths were second to none in armour and weaponry. They were also recruited, and equipped, by the Romans on several occasions.

I have seen many depictions of Gothic armour and weapons, infantry and cavalry, but nothing that looks like this. What sources are you using?
