    Default Withdraw not working

I have a problem. When I'm fighting and wish to withdraw my men just stand there and do nothing most of the time only retreted properly once. this is starting to realy aonnoy me, can anyone help me with this problem.

Sorry if this has been brought up before.

I beleive this mod only allows you to withdraw once to avoid exploits.

Tactically it is a bad move anyways. You'd be much better off telling your units to disengage rather than withdraw as they won't be captured. Even when I want to actually withdraw and retreat I will march/run my men to the border then choose to flee.

What i ment is that when i want to retreat of the map my men just stand there, not doing anything, when i do retreat i move them right up to the edge of the map and they still just stand there.
which means that when iacculy want to retreat i can't. note i only use the retreat option when i want to retreat and at no other time.

Your men are standing next to the red line and then you press in the white flag right?

You have to highlight\select the units in your interface and then press the white flag. Pressing the white flag on it's own will not do anything.

I don't think it will work if you have already withdrawn on the campaign map. That way you have to face the enemy. If you don't withdraw on the campaign map then you should be able to withdraw in battle.

In EDU (export_descr_unit) units with the mispelled ability can_withdraws won't be able to retreat in battles. To solve this simply open EDU, press Ctrl+H and replace all can_withdraws with can_withdraw. That should work.

Good, it took me some time to figure out that can_withdraws was the problem.
