My only worry is that (seeing as the routes they've been going down) there will be A) less factions B) less individuality or C) we will have pay to unlock factions instead of just being able to unlock them in the files for free. I'm really worried that they will do what they have done in shogun and release factions as DLC's.

No modding. The thing that kept Rome and Medieval 2 alive for so long was the mods. Now these crappy greedy DLCs are ruining Total War. I blame the move to Steam and the aquisition by Sega. Making pre-order and DLC necessary for 4 factions is just ridiculous. Shame on you, CA.
