BI exe bug

What bug? I'm not aware of any bugs for XGM right now.

I run XGM on BI and I haven't had any problems with the .exe.

why then i cant play it with bi exe? when i click campaing it says that select item from a list (same with provincial) and i cant play historical/custom battles

Reinstall maybe. Are you running the game through Steam?

I have the same problem and re-install didnt work. Im going to re-install RTW all together and try from there

Make sure your version of BI is patched all the way, go the the options menu and look in the upper right corner (or one of the corners).

That sounds like you are running the mod with the wrong executable (I.E. using the BI exe file when you should be using the Alex exe, or vice versa). Look in your XGM\Data\World\Maps\Campaign folder. You should see a folder in there named Barbarian Invasion, if not, reinstall XGM.

To make sure, when you're supposed to play a campaign do you use the arrow "proceed" or simply click on the campaign option? Because in some mods(altough not this one for me atleast) require that you use the arrow in the bottom right corner "--->" after you've selected the campaign. If this doesn't work, then I'm out of ideas.

The bug you are experiencing is because you havn't BI patched to 1.6.

I am having the same problem. What I dont understand is how do I install patch 1.5 if I dont have 1.3 installed? I've heard of problems not being able to patch from 1.4 to 1.5. The official patch states that the patch only patches 1.3 to 1.5 so what are the ones with the 1.4 Gold Edition supposed to do?
