Imperial Splendor/Regalia Compatible Startpos.esf file (compatible with IS 1.72 and on)

Installation Instructions:

Regalia Flags, Sound FX and Uniforms:
1. Download and extract the file. (If using Imperial Splendor, make sure to download the compatible startpos file)
2. Go to your Empire: Total War folder, then Data/Campaigns/Main/Startpos.esf
3. Backup your startpos.esf and replace it with the one we've provided.
4. Go back to the Data section and add Regalia.pack in the folder.
5. If you're using mod manager, check it and play!
6. If you're not using mod manager, Go to C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire\Scripts\
( the Application Data folder is HIDDEN!)

open the text file: user_empire.script

then copy and paste in it, this string. Repeat for each different Regalia pack you use:

mod "Insert Pack File name here.pack";

For the Smoke and Blood Mod:
First, make sure, you have no other, older Version of Battlefield smoke mod or Blood mod installed.

Winrar is needed to extract files from *.rar archive.

NOTE: If you would like to use the patch.pack version of the Smoke or Blood Mod 3.1 you must do the following

1. Open the patch.pack with the Pack File Manager.
2. Check and Highlight the Effects line. Delete effects and save the file
3. Don't forget to make a backup of your patch.pack file before you do these changes!

NOTE TO ALL WHO PLAN ON USING IMPERIAL SPLENDOR COMPATIBILITY: Make sure to have RegaliaFlag.pack lower than modis.pack or the compatibility will not work.

Could you upload the uniforms to filefront as well? Not all of us have an account, so there has to be a 14 minute gap in between each download.

Please note! If the mod don't work, you can set the loading priority in the Mod Manager. Load the mod after all other mods, you have installed, to get sure.

It's the other way around. Think of it as a priority list. Mods at the top overwrite the ones lower down.

At least put all Regalia Uniforms in one zip. Getting all of them is currently a major pain in the ass since you have to wait 15 minutes between each download on rapidshare!

I have updated the download section with a download for RegaliaUniformsFULL. This file contains all the Regalia Uniforms, in several zip and rar files so you can still choose not to use some if you wish. Hope that helps!

All this DL links means that this mod have more than one file?And if it is,in the future can you use just one?I dont try any mod yet just because it looks to confuse,Im afraid of mess the original game files and have to install the game again,.

Can you make this mod in just one file?Id like to have new textures and try those blood and smoke mod but i don't risk to put many files in Data folder because this can broke the game.
Damn,CA says this will be the most modifiable game and I don't see nothing of this,at least for the mod users.

Tonights update will include one big file. But I will not include the smoke mod in the file. You can download the big file, and then your choice of smoke mod.

The update has been released. I made an error in uploading so the flag does not contain the current startpos.esf, but if you already have the current startpos.esf, you will be fine. I will change the download links as soon as the error is fixed to include the startpos.esf again. EDIT: correct files uploaded now. Should be no problem anymore.

Also, if you are using the Imperial Splendor mod, make sure that Regalia is loaded AFTER Imperial Splendor in order to see the alternate government flags for minor nations.

I've updated Regalia to include the hot fix for yesterdays update so you can see the new faction flags. As soon as FileFront starts working for me again, I'll add another hot fix that adds the Portrait flags for those nations as well.

Aykis, where's the link to that file? I've tried without success to locate a link to download version 3.22, which I presume includes everything. Or do we still have to download uniforms, sounds, flags, etc. individually?

Currently its still individually. I had some problems adding them to one big file due to size. I'll try to get that up as soon as possible. My idea for it is to have it include all of Regalia EXCEPT the smoke mod. That way you can choose your own version of the smoke mod.

Another reason I like for having all the packs separate, other than for customization, is that so when I update a mod, you guys only have to download the part that was updated instead of the whole big version again.
