Of course there is a logical explanation...of that I have little doubt.
Clicked on the wrong option? Ya...heard that one before
"My dog ate my homework."
"Check is in the mail."
"My wife and I have an understanding."
"I accidentally chose the wrong poll option in the now-failed bid to remove the Curator that has suddenly gone public."
Well, it fits.![]()
And if the cap fits, wear it.
All I'm saying is that we should be waiting for some sort of explanation - while I disagreed with Major's reasoning I think there will be a forthcoming explanation for us all (even if it's a ridiculous one, it is better than nothing in my opinion). Until then, we can only sit tight and think about Major's reasoning.![]()
People keep asking me to return to the curia.
Just so we're clear. Pontifex had his arse handed to him in a curial debate, I digged him for losing his temper and acting like ..... Someone reported me to the CdeC.
Now despite them having difficulty coming to a consensus (half of them thought it was a nonsense) I was given a censur, an insult in my eyes, given by a manipulated CdeC..
I resigned because the CdeC's reasoning was unsatisfactory/lame.
Now why don't I go back?? Because I have the balls to fight my own corner, I'll take the blows and give as good as I get, I would never USE the CdeC to attack another citizen, that, in my view, is cowardly and weak.
Want to know the full story, PM me.
Still no word from Pontifex????
Call me stupid, but wouldn't it have made more sense just to persevere, rather than martyr yourself out of spite? What makes the bigger difference in the long run? Not to be insulting, but I've always thought of that as the easy way out, rather than trying to improve whatever it may be, and in this case, better the website, just run? I've been in many situations, and I've found that nothing ever gets better after I leave.

I can only guess from the vague insinuations here that people are wondering a few things.
I did not comment in the VonC thread because I was formulating a reply. The thread was closed barely 24 hours after being started. I am a college student meeting several deadlines this week. I don't always have as much time as I would like to sum up my reasoning in lengthy posts. The thread was locked and moved not long after it was posted. Usually the CdeC has a week to discuss cases but for whatever reason Meg decided we only needed 1/7 of that time. If being relatively inactive for 12 hours is a crime VonC both myself, half the CdeC and Meg. We're all guilty. I'm also not the only CdeC member not to comment so I don't know why I am being made out to be some sort of special criminal. Perhaps they didn't have time either. If you're vexed about my lack of reply in that thread, sorry, but I wasn't exactly given a fair shake at giving one in the first place.
So vote then formulate a reply.I did not comment in the VonC thread because I was formulating a reply.
Despite the CdeC being bereft of any guidelines the one fundamental rule states that members must actively participate in discussions and votes. Voting without reason is a clear breach. This isn't negotiable, isn't open to interpretation, failure is not excusable. How can you be trusted to serve in the CdeC when you neglected the one rule in the most important vote during your term of office, the removal of a curial elected officer, the curator.Elected members of the Consilium de Civitates and the Curator must actively participate in discussions and votes. Hexagon members' participation is optional.
To then take two days after the vote was made public to come up with the excuse that you ''but I wasn't exactly given a fair shake at giving one in the first place.''
Would anyone like to check if Pontifex made any other posts between the time the vote thread was opened and closed.
And you still haven't come up with a response.
I hope you've apologised to the CdeC for making a mockery of their procedures.
I hope to plan an apology to the curia for neglecting your duty and breeching the one rule you are bound to adhere to.
I hope you've at least offered Meg an apology for neglecting your duty and attempting to betray her without an explanation.
He made 4 by my count.Would anyone like to check if Pontifex made any other posts between the time the vote thread was opened and closed.
One in the TD
One in Q and S
Two in Swaggers citizenship application
However, if you would forgive me for saying so, none of these posts would have required as much thought as a justification for supporting the VonC against Empress Meg...
And the times between those posts?, remember he had already voted to dismiss the curator at this point.
Also bear in mind the posts you have viewed are public.
Sometime soon the case that was running in the CdeC at the time is also going to be made public.
..... should be so lucky.
We still debate that there old Curia place?
Aye, just drop it.'s over with. Live, laugh, love, all that jazz. Hader will give out cookies to everyone here to lighten the mood.
Edit: See, "cookie!" for everyone.
Honored One...
But we do not want cookies. We want dirt, nitty gritty, and the juicy. Tis TWC's own version of the tabloid ....no'
TWC officeholder does wrong!!!!........
As did the Citizens of Rome love the Gladiators, the folks from TWC love their INTERNET Drama drama....
I did not do anything wrong. I'll take leave of this thread again and forget it exists. Now, if anyone has any questions for me in the future try PMing me or posting in the curia instead of rallying somewhere off the radar and then criticizing me for not responding immediately to a thread I have visited maybe three times during its whole existence.
I find the fuss over why a member of Hex (or anybody) voting in any particular manner on the Dissmisal vote to be much ado about nothing. The purpose of transparancy in the votes is to keep a clear record for future elections. Whether Ponti has or has not fully explained is vote does not matter in the scheme of things.
