Thread: Unit Polycount anyone?

    Default Unit Polycount anyone?

    Hey all,
I know there isn't any model importers as yet, but I wanted to get started on some custom models so to get things going. Does anyone know of the polycount for individual units?
Would be even better if people knew the polycount for foot soldiers, mounts and large mounts (elephants).
    Thanks.

well, MTW2 models were round 2000 or more and I doubt that they'd go lower (in fact, the models seem to be even higher poly)

I'm talking about tri count, of course (though usualy polycount means the same)

yea, probably between 2000 and 3000. May be more as stated above, but your good if you are around there.

Well, a couple of my math friends firgured out by using the ship models as examples and there crew counts that the average was about 2000 per solider, don;t ask me about the math, I don't know what they did.

He asks polygons, so I gave my number in quads, not triangles.
