I've had a handful of the easy ones, my real exams all kick in after half term (and a number of them after study leave)...

Has anyone else had the misfortune to sit the unmitigatingly useless scrap of paper that they call 'General Studies, The Scientific Domain'?

Same for me, radcan - english and french so far, and I'm supposed to be revising history. Hope you sassenachs don't get our english paper - it had one essay out of a few dozen that fitted a novel we did, and I had to improvise completely to write about 'Romeo and Juliet' being a 'dark and pessimistic' play. 'Twas a nightmare. Curse Shakespeare and his hey-nonny-no's! English reading and french were OK - something about 'internet beggars' (in french) who somehow use the net to scrounge off decent, working folk like us. Scumbags - who'd do that? I only hope that the others will be OK, and good luck to all. By the way, can anyone spare me a fiver?

Talking about writing essays in the exam is really hard, I actually thought the english literature tends to be hard but more simple than the english language exam.

Actually you right, I almost forgotten the date, it is not a good day to choose, probably they just ignore it.

God, yes. What a load of rubbish. I was under the impression that it would involve science, as opposed to illogical logic puzzles and annoyingly obtuse questions. I've got the majority next week, but it is a pain to have 16 exams to sit altogether.

I have my geography skills paper tommorow at 1:30... I'm screwed! And it's on Pirate Day as well. So much for dressing up as a Pirate!

I'm also doing Biology and History on the same days as Stalin's Ghost. What history topics are you doing?

Very stupid Yank question - are the British exams like finals here in the States? Do you have to pass them to graduate from college?

Just curious, please forgive me intruding on your discussion.
