i'd be interested to know why as well

i'll get it started then,
i love the eu series, because it'd my favorite historical period and i love the whole expand and colonise

EU series for me. Not that I think any less of the other titles per say. More like the time period covered happens to be amongst my favorite in history; combined with great gameplay and you've got a winner.

I only have EU3 as of now(first Paradox game I have ever had, thanks to this subforum) and it could possibly become my favorite strategy game of all time.

I have a question, are the others worth getting too? Because if they're anything like EU3, I will have to change my pants once I get them

EU2 and 3, definitely. Looking forward to buying Rome though, I'm sure I will love it.

I'd probably wait a bit on that one were i you...

Least til maybe the next expansion for it comes out ( presuming their is to be one that is ). I do believe there's a reason no one has voted for it yet in this poll. Of all Paradox titles, this is the one i just can't get into for some reason. I'm hoping perhaps an expansion will cure me of it.

Oh yes, they are well worth it - buy lots of new pants as well, you will not regret it (except possibly Rome)

hmm... i don't want to put you of the game - they are all worth there money, its just that (in my opinion, one i feel is probably reflected by most people - just look at the poll for proof) Rome is the only one that doesn't deliver way over and beyond - with Rome you pay and feel you paid what its worth - whereas with the others you could spend £200 ($300ish - i'm english) and still feel like you got a bargin.

well there is vae victus, which helps but.....
