    Default Minor factions enhanced mod

    A mini mod that enhances the playability of minor factions. (you will still need to download a mod that unlocks them, this only enhances them)

    the mod enables rank fire, canister shot and ring bayonet for everyone right from start.

    it ads an identical unit for 12lber and carabineers to the smaller factions lacking the schools or required buildings to research canister and carbines.

    it also ads rank fire to militia.

    These units work for vanilla ETW right now, let me know if you play other mods with it, i'll try to update the new units for that mod in a patch asap.


    To be used with mod manager

    The minor factions enhanced_IS is a version for Imperial Splendor Mod that uses IS unit stats, cost and upkeep.

    thanks again for the mod! quick question. what building do i need to get the cannon and carbines? I am playing Georgia right now and built everything but the Royal Palace and still can only build the regular troops. Bayonet and canister work good though!

    I forgot about georgia and dagestan for the 12lbers. i will ad em tonight.

    as for the carabineers that is a unit a unit of venice and austrian and french group. So wurttemberg, genoa, savoi, venice, papal states. some of them don't have regiment of horse also. That's why georgia doesn't have em, they use regiment of horse and tatars.

    and i made the mod so small factions can get started, but i still think you should try getting hold of a real city so you can research the rest yourself. that's why dragoons are not included... But i guess i could add them too, to royal palace for example.

    As for imperial splendor, ofc it will work, but need to update it to IS unitstats and cost. I already said just tell me what mod you play and i'll do a patch for that mod.

    so i'll take care of it tonight.

    P.S all these units should be avaible from barracks on (some from encampment) so if you see a unit missing somehwere, please report it so i can fix it.

    sounds good! your right. georgians have tatars instead of carbineers. works for me! this mod has made Empire exactly the game i wanted. thanks again!!

    if you know how user.empire_script works

    add this line into your user.empire_script

    mod "Minor factions enhanced.pack";

    if you don't i'll have to ad you another file to download

    do you use multiple mods or jut this one? do you use Impeiral splendor version or vanilla ETW?

    does this mod work with Imperial splendor correctly? I tried it as saxony and didnt have the research items you listed, but perhaps I installed it incorrectly I'm not sure..?

    i used it with Imperial Splendour. The items wont show up in the research tree if thats what you mean. But when you go into battle you will have bayonets and fire by rank. You will also be able to recruit cannons.

    To be able to research anything you need a school and the required building unlocking the different trees, like military, naval, economical etc.

    As Gord said, you'll be able to fight the bigger nations and grab what you need to start researching.

    still using this mod. just a quick note on some bugs i found. not sure if you are still updating.

    1) the Knights of St John dont get the 12lb guns from the start.

    2) as Courland last night I noticed when you upgrade to a royal palace you lose the ability to build 12 lb guns.

    Thank you for the excellent work that has been poured into this and other mods which you have graced us withmight we perhaps see a version that is compatible with Lethal???
