Thank you sir. Edric Storm has already done some great faction icons as you well know now. What I did was real quick using a template from my own project Murica TW. To tell you the truth I was just trying to get someones attention.

i'm currently working on custom portraits and some UI elements (not the pannels) like
    -battle-control round buttons (finished)
-message icons (those appearing on the left of the screen)
-events icons (reworked casual ones ,since we've started a custom-events project ,with kiliç ali ..)

    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...7#post10173937
(attached file contains ,the battle-buttons and some message icons ,while same page has other attached pics of various stuff)

so..if you like the preview(s) ,i could send em over when it's all done or piece by piece

On the suggestions thread, I brought up recording our own dialogue to replace that in the game. While I can't help much with the sound equipment issue, I'd like to volunteer to do some of the prep work - specifically, taking the dialogue from M2TW and writing Westerosi equivalents. I'd also be available to do other text writing, if you need someone in that department.

i think we already have writers mate.
i will be handling the voices, i was thinking italian voices for all southern houses, east european for greyjoy & stark and il think what i have to do with the martells, if you have sound files i will take them gladly and incorporate them, if you have modeling and skinning experience then we will be glad i don't think we need any scripters, coders or writers in general.

    Italian for the south? Huh?

What about the River lords, the Westerland lords, and the Vale lords?

I doubt they had Italian accents. Why not use Kingdom of Jerusalem voices?

Yeah, that immediately struck me as a bit strange as well.

If you're going down the route of adding recorded voices, I would have thought that different variations of British voices would be the way to go. I don't envision Westeros as being so culturally divergent that one group sounds Italian, while another sounds Russian, etc. I see the differences as being like Southern English (Lannister, Tully, Tyrell, etc) to Northern English or perhaps Scottish (Stark) The Martell's could perhaps have a non-British European accent, as they're both culturally and geographically more removed from the other houses. I'm not entirely sure about the Greyjoys.

I always imagined Bravos as being inspired by Italy and possibly Spain.

The Westeros southerners always seemed like pretty standard "Western Europeans" except maybe for King's Landing itself which is very cosmopolitan and Sicily-esque.

So the South could use the English accent imo except the Martells who could go for Arabic/Medditarean.

Don't remember what KoJ sounds like. :/

Agree regarding Bravos, and a Mediterranean accent sounds about right for Martell. Kings Landing however gives off a "Sicily-esque" vibe more in setting and climate than population, or at least that's how I read it. It'd be unusual if, say, the Tyrell's sounded English and the Joffrey's sounded Italian.

Also, based on how the Stark chapters are written and the language used, it's pretty clear that the Northmen were based on Northern England. Read some Greatjon dialogue in an eastern European accent, and you'll see what I mean.

Yes of course, that's what I meant as well. Wouldn't want Geoff to sound Italian either, he's no charmer. Mama mia!

im trying to avoid voces telling me MY KING! THIS IS ENGLISH SOIL NOW! or the lovely YES MY SULTAN! or everyones favorite WHAT IS IT YOU WANT FROM THE REICH!?
the Mediterranean voices seem to address people in a very neutral fashion where they dont name their country or dont sound out of place, i havent played for a long, long time so if anyone is familiar with the diffrent voices and what i want please suggest which voice cultures are what im looking for.

You guys should take a look at the artist Hattori. I think his style would greatly suit Westeros Total War.

how well mate? if you can produce skins/models like the our skinners have done for tyrells, Joffery and etc.

if you can then my only response to you is: " son, your hired!" contact Hannibal for more details.
if you have time and the good skills you can save us 1 month or two.

well medieval 2 textures and models are much more distinct and are gonna need much more detail. so i guess you are probobly gonna need to spend much more time dealing with these medieval texturing. well i hope to see you on the other side, you will most probably have to do Tullies

well here is the textures of the some of our first works on stannis which we are no longer using. basically grab any texture file like this in a game and i want you to just change one of them from vanilla to house Tully colors. of course you dont need to change all of it i am just asking you to do one chest piece here, a shield piece there, add a few dents/scratches or dirt here and there etc...just change one piece (there maybe 3 different variations in one texture file; just edit one of them) so i can see what you can do on a chest piece and a shield.

btw this work on stannis piece was discarded because it wasnt good enough try to achieve something more, something to this quality (you know shadowing/detail/etc) this
