I knew a bit with XP. I'm pretty much a newcomer to Vista though as I only updated in November. I've seen a few different ways to make Mods work using Steam's Launch Preferences menu, but all of those crash my game.
Nominally, if this worked, where would I see Westeros? In the DropDown "Play" Menu alongside Crusade, Teutonic, MTW2, etc?
Alright, I'll try to find those then. VISTA's reg I'm really unsure of.
Yah I cannot find the Vist Reg for it.
Stormraider...
I found an alternate install method for Steam from another mod. Try following the steps in this post:

Please report back and let me know if it works. If so, I'll re-write the instructions to be Westeros specific and include them here.
I have campaign sounds but no music. When I extract the sound files. I think the sound files we included are empty. Maybe try deleting them (make a backup first) and see if the game will use the vanilla sounds.
They are located in the medieval ii total war\mods\Westeros\data\sounds folder.
Any new about a fix for the non-english version?
Did we have sound/music in last westerous release I want to say we did
Nope. BattleDrumz hasn't done it yet (dunno if he's still working on it).
"Five had been his brothers. Oswell Whent and Jon Darry. Lewyn Martell, a prince of Dorne. The White Bull, Gerold Hightower. Ser Arthur Dayne, Sword of the Morning. And beside them, crowned in mist and grief with his long hair streaming behind him, rode Rhaegar Targaryen, Prince of Dragonstone and rightful heir to the Iron Throne."
I've managed to make it work with Steam by renaming a campaign (Americas) to something else and calling Westeros Americas. Works like a charm.
first congrats for the mod, the new version will be soon ?

Thanks for the suggestion gigantus. I'm not much of a mapper but planning on delving into it soon. Is this the best technique for smoothing the coastlines?
