    Default editing the spoken language of the factions

    i have just started modding empire recently, but i dont know what to do to edit the spoken language of the factions, i want to make the savoyard`s speak italian as opposed to french, any help would be appriciated.

    Well you could start off immitating the english ones (if you speak italian) and then you could try to implent them. Begin with the commands "Fire!" and so on. Start naming the units and such (with voice of course)

    That's easy. Open factions_table (either in patch.pack or main.pack--can't remember). Find Savoy and scroll to the right; you'll see the column where you designate language.

    erasmus, thank you for your help, are you sure its in the patch or main im looking in there but i cant see anything

    patch.pack->db->factions_tables

    Do the Scots have their own accent in this?

    Only the initial 11 playable factions have voice actors. Scotland's not one of those.

    Yeah thats what I thought, but from what I can tell the Italian States' guys speak Italian.

    What am i supposed to do? My mod has Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese factions, and i dont think they have those languages in ETW

    Is there another mod that has those kinds of voices?

    You could do them all in a neutral language like English. You could also get voice actors to do the commands. The voice files are in mp3 so they're easily replaceable.
