    Concerning Novgorod, Poland will build south and east into Russian territory. Wait long enough and you will have Poland and Hungay both headed for Tana with the Cumans and later Mongols cutting a path to a Baltic sea port. You will also have Sweden coming into Riga and Revel. Novgorod does end up fighting for its survival given time. Historically, except for the records of Byzantium, Poland and the Lithuanian traders who had trade routes into China and India, there is only the oral history of the different groups around the Black Sea and the Russian Steppes.

    Your ideas are good. Many I have seen in Stainless Steel and DLV. I only have that many faction slots left and I am trying to be careful which ones.

    Is there a units limit (The amount of new units you can create)

    I was just thinking that the new factions could have their own special units instead of the ones from other factions.

    The amount of factions and the nuber of unit slots are about maxxed. I hear what you are saying but for now, this is it.

    Burgundy seems a good idea, it was a powerfull state in the middle ages. In the late middle ages they also owned big parts of Belgium and the Netherlands

    I wanna see romanian factions in this mod, it would be really awesome. Wallachia (Romanian: Ţara Romānească—"Romanian Land"), Moldavia (Romanian: Moldova) and Transylvania (Romanian: Transilvania)

    If 3 factions is too much, then you can add a single one named Romanian Principlalities

    I can't wait to see them fighting against hungarians and turks


    As I saw in the original game map, there was already built regions for Romania, i saw the city of Bucharest wich is the current capital, I don't know why they didn't made the romanian factions in the original game, becouse in rome total war they made romanians' ancestors,the dacians

    I would like to see Bran castle

    I think it is really necessary,

    so there are still avalabile spots?If you are going to add romanians, they can be added as 1 single faction. oh, and is there any known method to modify this faction limit?

    No way to alter the faction limit.

    Right now, I am trying to chase down some ctds that are driving me nuts.

    Well, i just installed the mod, and i looked in the mod's map_regions.tga and i checked and there are 3 romanian regions,one for each of the romanian factions,well i think one is too less and becouse not many spots avalabile and to keep the factions avalabile it really is better to make a single romanian faction.

    If you want me to do it, well i can try but i haven't moded factions till long, and that was in rome total war, but i can try. I will add the faction and i will adjust it's existing regions, and then i can help with other things

    And one more question: You create factions in this game by adding new ones or modifing the old ones?

    Why sweden instead of Norway, Norway was more powerful and bigger throughout the middle ages

    It was this way when I inherited the mod from it's previous owner that disappeared off the radar 2.5 years ago. If you wish to go through all the threads before August, 2008, he may have left a clue.

    I see, i would suggest adding norway as a faction then. If possible keep sweden but give norway accurate regions as they should.
