I took up a defensive position on a hill to minimize the the range of the few archers and to maximize the range of my own
The orcs began the trek into the valley between their high mountain and my small knoll
They came in range of my archers
After hard and arduous fighting of the first 2000-man army, who hadn't routed completely, i was met with a grim outlook...
The second 1000-man army arrived and reinforced the first army's numbers, hope seemed grim. I used my cavalry with devastating effect, but they were soon slaughtered by the masses
The enemy general was a unit of black numenorians...i shuddered at their power
They probably killed 200 of my remaining 300 men but i whittled them down slowly, but THEY WOULD'NT DIE. EVEN FOR BODYGUARDS THIS WAS RIDICULOUS
they almost killed my entire general's bodyguard. this was Mistion, the future heir of the Gondorian stewardship (Ecthelion hadn't died yet at 75 and Denethor's only son was 1 year old). i carefully groomed this guy to be the best, most authoritative leader in the lands of gondor, and i wasn't about to lose him. I charged him at the numenorians with my remaining 100 soldiers following.
FINALLY, AFTER KILLING HIS ENTIRE BODYGUARD, THE GENERAL RAN. HE
ALMOST COST ME THE ENTIRE BATTLE, AND MY GENERAL WOULD HAVE DIED
here are the results, if i ever run into the nazgul guy again i'll
ing cut his head off. check my army remains on the bottom
and my awesome unit stats! i'm surprised most of my units didn't gain more experience
and that concludes the Battle of the Morgul Vale. I took Minas Morgul (now Minas Ithil) without a fight and was promptly sieged by a 1000-man orc army...FML
