For a better slowmo effects you dont have a chance (at least as far as i know) to slow
it sown in the editor. but what you can try is to increase the framerate for your exported
video and slow it down later in your video editing software. i cant look atm but maybe
you can change the export frame rate in the cfg files.

and it is really strange that it uses your med2 prefs. thats the total opposite of what you
want. show banners, resolution, grass distance, visual effects ... all that cant be set separately?

    EDIT

okay - it took a lokk. you can change the frame rate in the render_settings.cfg
    Code:
    #-------------------------------------------

    [capture_tga]

    enable = 1

    fps = 60
just change the fps rate to any value you like and than you can realize a slowmo
effect in your video editing software. please try it out and let us know if this works.

Jan, thank you! This is very helpful, I'll try it asap!

and it is really strange that it uses your med2 prefs. thats the total opposite of what you
want. show banners, resolution, grass distance, visual effects ... all that cant be set separately?
It acts very weirdly... I need to open up Medieval and change the settings in-game if I want them to affect the cine-editor. But for some strange reason show banners line can be edited in the cine-ed files and it works...

Edit: Maybe my problem with cine-ed files is to be blamed but increasing the FPS in the cine-ed file doesn't work... In fact Vegas shows that all of the videos are 30 fps...

    Can anyone else test this?

As far as i see it that the avi's that are captured don't use the tga fps rate.
hat i would do is to insert "fps = 120" in the avi capture section. maybe this
works. i wonder if it would be possible to render a picture sequence with cineed ...

    Hey,

you can render your video in tga. That's how you can render with 120 frames e.g., but it doesn't render grass and some other plants (I don't know why)... and it takes a while to render a short sequence!

Would be nice to get a better framerate in avi.

@jan: Arbeitest du gerade an einem Video? Die Mod ist echt sauber!

i have a problem with the cinematic editor: the second window with timeline just dont show up, its like it is invisible because it appears in task manager but not in the screen itself (kinda hard to explain this...). i have tried re-install, and im sure that everything in the .cfg files are correct, any suggestions?

Really strange - you should ask in D|needs thread to ask for help.
    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=139646

1 - what OS do you run?
2 - have you installed frameworks 2 or higher?
3 - does the game itself run properly?

    EDIT

i just saw you already posted in D|needs thread

OS is Operating System means Windows version.

    I see you are using steam - well i don't so i can't
really help you. i think steam is the origin of your
problems. because the command line refers to
the kingdoms.exe and at lfar as i know steam does
not use such .exe to start the game (and the editor).

I have followed all the Tutorials correctly.
It simply doesn't work. Nothing happens when I click the batch files. I've done everything right afaik.

its the main M2TW gold application, you can choose there between the campaigns, and ill check about the missing file
EDIT: lol. i have downloaded this magcore.dll and now it says that another file is missing... ill download it too i think it has something to do with registration or something (i have google it and it seems that many peaople have this problem with various of programs)
EDIT2: i have fixed all of the .dll errors but the problem still remains. any other idea?
