    I think that the elves that helped Rohan in the battle of Helms Deep, are High Elves from Rivendel, not Silvan Elves.

    Yea it's hilarious, because he says Elrond brings word (if I remember correctly) or something along those lines, but he's a Silvan elf. I lawled pretty hard about that whole scene.

    Yeah, it was phony/fake/wrong in the movie and the Elves shouldn't have been at Helm's Deep, but I think PJ did that to show the audience the fighting capabilities of the Elves and to show 'team spirit', that is all the good guys finally getting together.

    Elrond and Galadriel did communicate somewhat with one another through some sort of mental telepathy/magic, and that is slightly at hinted at in the books and Tolkien's other writings, so Elrond could have asked Galadirel to send aid to Helm's Deep.

    When that berserker killed three elves with one slash, I didn't know wether to laugh or cry. The elves didn't even try to defend themselves or dodge the blow!

    What do you mean they were "weak". They fought very well in the movie!!! Just because Haldir got whacked in the head and died doesn't mean they didn't do a good job of killing orcs, that's what happens in those type of bloody and fatal affairs. The Uruk-hai Berserkers were another of PJ's additions made under artistic creativity, and we all know they weren't in the books. They were big and crazy SOB's though.

    Yes I just saw in the game that Haldir is a silvan elf. The movie part really confused me , because he did said that he was from rivendel isnt he?

    Hm...just a slight question. I put all the files in their folders, and everything is working fine, except i cant recruit black numerions(sp? kinda tired/lazy) on the campaign map. I have used them in custom battles but a Mordor tier 5 barracks in Barad Dur cannot recruit them. Anyone know why?

    He said he brings word from Elrond and it's not wierd because Elrond certainly had connections to Lórien unlike elves of Mirkwood and Lindon since his wife was daughter of Celeborn and Galadriel, he was related to Galadriel and his children (at least Arwen) visited in there quite often.

    I did actually quite like the elves turning up at Helm's Deep- showed they still actually gave two figs to the general non-LotR-reading public.

    Still, I asked for this in a different thread, and someone said to come here. A personal thing, but can you make the Fountain Court guys have a shield and long spear (and do shield wall instead of spear wall) a la Citadel guard? Being a FATW player I've been somewhat used to them being able to run around a bit.

    You could have it as an optional bit- though it's not hard to not copy and paste the files in if you don't want it!
