RTR will not work

Hello I have downloaded the Rome total realism platinium 1.9 and installed it. However the first time i tried it no "mss32" was not found so i downloaded it and copied it to my rome total war folder. Now when i attempt to use the program the rome total war startup image pops up goes away and nothing happens.

My system is xp however it used to originaly be vista.

Are you sure you`ve installed the mod where you were supposed to?

Also, make sure that instead of overwriting the vanilla files you haven`t actually create a new Rome - Total War folder inside of the original one. The missing dll type of error is usually related to the mod being installed improperly in terms of location.
