Thanks so much this has helped immensely! Tracking down some of the smaller settlements without this was a pain in the you know what!

Because of Moria being missing, Cerin Amroth and Caras Galadhon are positioned too far south.

I am new here and I maybe wrong, but doesn't Rohan has a city name helm's deep? I can't find it on the map or this map doesn't have this city. Anyone know the answer. Thanks first!

wow great stuff, I now know where to expect the enemy and his huge settlements without cheating Fog-o-War, or running around with my armies and spies, roaming through the dark looking for the settlements.

I know this map is based off the Book and story of Middle Earth but what is the rest of the world like according to this story? What is out side of the stories map? This is a very limited area. Not even one continent. What of the rest of the globe?Just curious.

Nice map, do you by chance have a political version, or one with the regions on it?

Jaguar - one has been made already. Ketchup made it. Link:

Look on the first page and you will see a smaller version as well.

jan - thought you may be interested to see my printed out version of your map - I had to reduce the size of the picture by half to get the printer to print it out

    http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...c/IMGP0435.jpg

it's massive as you can see, but has become the pride of place in my spare room. It has of course upset my other half... but it's staying

small question, didnt you knew that you can take screenshots in game that will send the picture to a TGA excellent quality file at the sega/totalwar/TGA/.. folder?

you dont have to paste them from the clipboard.

also, if you dont want to have tga quality but rather jpeg, just change the settings from what they are to worst quality and they will be saved in jpeg of different quality.

i was thinking on doing this myself, but i thought about doing it schematic only, just putting some info on impasable terrain, cities whereabouts and coastlines, black and white and simpler.
(like a tolkien map but with the game distances and level of detail)

now i can use your work as a base, thanks! +rep

Dol Guldur must go South (to the very East of Caras Galadhon)

Woldberg must go more to South-East, to the very South of Caras Galadhon.

Then Tirith Anduin must be South-South-East farther, from Caras Galadhon, not at the direct East. (T.Anduin is exactly middle of Woldberg-Dol Guldur)

It really makes you wonder what is east, West, north, and south.
When people ask me "plz", it is short for "please". When I say no, it is short for "yes".
