Cannot run

I downloaded off of Direct2Drive. (gold)


First, when installing, I get a error message: Your version of Rome Total War seems to be incorrect this mod requires RTW version 1.5 or RTW:BI version 1.6, select OK to continue anyway."


Problem is, my version IS 1.5 in RTW and 1.6 in BI.

It extracts or whatever.

Then I get the error message: Patch of pak.dat failed

What is going on?


I go into the game I can only do imperial campaign via provincal.

Update: After searching for about a hour. I managed to come upon luck the answer to install it into my main game folder.

The question the answer was to, barely related to my problem, but it worked!
