Yea... I'm going to lower the # of arrows in my EDU... from other SS's it looks like I'll have to do some other edits too. Oh well.

in no way am i saying the games bad or balance sucks games great so far i just think missile damage is a little out of control strong. still amazing though.

I have to agree that arrows even from crappy rebels are uber strong. I think we can see why an army of archers can wipe out a far larger orc army with ease, which is quite tactically dull and boring. More balancing will take place though, lots infact.

This game is crazy fun

But I have a question:

Getting a bit tired of Gondor Spearmen and Archers, and Minas Tirith has only 6000 people and growing veryyy slooowly. How do I get some cooler units to recruit? Got lots of cities, just about to invade mordor.

You need to wait till certain events to recruit the elite units.

I can choose from about 6 units (excl. siege and bodyguard) as Mordor right now. I can't built trolls and uruks but the current units (even the crappiest ones) look pretty cool so I don't really mind. I'm already at turn 30 so it shouldn't be to long before I get new stuff.

As for the archers: I noticed even my scouts (crappiest Mordor ranged unit) were pretty effective (although this was when defending a city or castle). I'm training some Orc archers to see how the higher tier archers fare. That screenshot is pretty insane...

Rome wasn't built in 50yrs let alone a day! Try playin The High Elves for a real financial and manpower squeeze! Goblin Town just took a pasting though! The chaps are complaining that they can't rename it AllGoblinsgonnathrill!

Honestly, i am more or less speechless.. collecting my thoughts as yet... just got done studying and did a test run with the silvans against mordor. It was beautiful. I cant wait to play the campaign tomorrow.

It was also snowin so hard we couldn't see the faces of the poor devils as we despatched! so we decided to wait for a clearer day to record the fun! Just like the old days!

Rohan open hostilities against Isengard by attacking a small raiding party and are made to pay.
