    Well, I did plenty of Skinning for M2TW and Rome, and I'm currently employed as a skinner for The Frontier, however these 'faction colour' shenanigens that CA have introduced are taking some getting used to.

    They're in models/unitmodels/textures/euro_officer_[faction name]_diffuse.dds

    Thank you for this. I love the game, but the bearded british officers really got to me - it's purely a cosmetic thing, but now they look so much better!

    Sure, I'll even throw in the moustache!

    At the moment I've got the French and Americans done, however I'm just messing about with the normal maps, as I've noticed when the light hits at a certain angle, the officers still have invisible beards... Not very pretty...

    How dare ye! Insulting my Pirate bretheren! Us pirates had a deal with CA... alll your troops are belong to us! Pirate Officers was the deal matey! For every single unit in game!

    But seriously, the Officers in game look like they're supposed to be an inside joke at CA, and apparently we all dont get it. They look like bloody Pirates, and a bad looking pirate at that.

    Noticed that myself today. I guess that was what Euro_Officer2.dds was for...

    Will be fixed in the upcoming version. Although it beats me as to why CA gave the grenadiers their own officer...

    I also noticed, that if you have for example two cards on line infantry, one will have an officer with the powdered hair, while the other will still retain regular brown. Is this by design? Perhaps there are other files in need of editing.

    It is actually. This will depend on your detail setting, if you've got it on ultra, you have the wig chaps, as well as the younger looking ones with dark hair. My rig can't handle ultra, so I only get the wigs, but I decided to leave the others with darker hair, just for a bit of variety. For example, my American Officer that I've got at the moment, I didn't bother to give a wig. Just didn't seem right somehow. I'll probably change them too though later.
