How do I make Light Infantry available earlier?

I remember Darthmod had it, then he removed it (WHY) and returned it to its usual position at the bottom of the tree.

thats easy open the patch file than take this Path db/unit_required_technology_junctions_tables/unit_required_technology_junctions

than click on "Export TSV" save it, open it and search for military_army_light_infantry_doctrine and delete that
or you delete the light_infantry in that file

Important back up that folder!!!!!!!!

Well I was thinking more on the lines of making the research tech available earlier, like say at tier 2, but that works.

I tried editing the tech_tables db file but the tech simply disappears in the game...
