How do I make a flag transparent ?
Hi all , Im trying to mod the Prussian battle flag to something I like alot more . Its not 100% historically accurate but its actually the Dragoon's flag . Anyways, I cant seem to make the "V" shaped area transparent . I have other flag mods that made it so , so I know Targa can do it . Ive tried many different ways on CS4 to make it transparent and I keep getting this as a result:

Use the Alpha channel in photoshop.

Ummm , that doesnt seem to be working for me either ...

You open the flag in photoshop. It's a TGA file, as I know. Add an alpha channel and save with the alpha channel. Open it again to see if its work. Pack it in your mod folder.
You have a hook at the mod and in you script file is your mod name.

Ah , thats not what I did exactly . Ill try that out and tell you how it goes . Im heading out of town for the weekend , so Ill do it when I get back .

That didnt work really well . It just added a red layer over the whole flag and white spot .
