Diplomacy to easy

Ive been playing this mod on VH campaign AI as usual and diplomacy just seems far to easy, in my first turn as Austria i was able to gain around 8 protectorates just offering military access for 20 turns. I was also able to gain a large number of allies and get half the world to accept trade agreements. Not once was i refused on my initial offer on any of my negotiations.

Half the word in trade ? How is it even possible, you start with 10 trading ports in your homeland or something ?
