    uma coisa, eu nao sou grande modder, como posso conjugar o teu mod ou ate mesmo skins, com o DARTmod ou proper empire, por exemplo? sem crashar claro.. e implicaçoes do startpos? APENAS SErve para desblokear a nossa facçao? obrigado

    That’s right! I had to release a new version because there was some incompatibilities between this mod and the new update release by CA. So, I had no time to add the new factions that I promised.

    In the opening post you will find a tutorial that explains how to play IMPERIUM GLOBALE and darthmod without that kind of problems:


    Spoiler Alert, click show to read: 

    To play IMPERIUM GLOBALE and Darthmod v1.8 without problems of compatibility follow the instructions:

    1- Install IMPERIUM GLOBALE
    2- Install Darthmod v1.8
    3- Download this add-on.
    4- Extract the file IMPERIUM_GLOBALE_darthmod_ADD_ON.pack, and paste it in the folder C:\...\Steam\steamapps\common\empire total war\data
    5- Install the Mod Manager
    6- Open the Mod Manager and check IMPERIUM_GLOBALE_darthmod_ADD_ON.pack ; IMPERIUM_GLOBALE.pack; and darthmod.pack.


    7- Click in “Launch” to start the game.

    NOTE: If you want to play with IMPERIUM GLOBALE and Darthmod v1.8 you should not launch the game with the shortcut of IMPERIUM GLOBALE.


    About the Spanish flag, I decided to replace it with the original flag of “New Spain” to bring more realism to the mod. But to avoid having two factions with the same flags, I had to implement some changes in the flag of “New Spain”.

    Yes, you can play this mod with darthmod. In the opening post you will find a tutorial about how to do this. Unfortunately, if you try to play IMPERIUM GLOBALE with “proper empire” you will have some problems of compatibility.
    Finally, the file startpos not only unlocks some factions, but is also the responsible for several other features (republican flags, etc.). If you want to play IMPERIUM GLOBALE with all the features, do not replace this file with any other.

    hey does anyone know how i can start my own thread for a total war expansion pack dont you guys think they should go farther seat into china and the land of the rising son and then farther south into africa this was a period of colonization for these to continents they should at least go to Japan and the kongo kingdom

    lol I know I can play them together I've already figured that out, but I was wondering if YOU could increase the unit number of your ordencas for Portugal, because while all the other units have 300 men in each regiments the troops YOU made only have 60 making it unporportional.

    I installed this yesterday and it's very good -- I can't wait for the campaign map adjustments.

    Was there a decision to remove some of the factions from being playable, though, or was it needed? I can't remember who's missing (I have to say, nobody that I have/would play as anyway), but it struck me.

    I think that there is no issues about the unit size. For example, if you play IMPERIUM GLOBALE without darthmod (with the unit scale set to large), you will notice that, for example, the size of the Portuguese units match with the size of the British units:




    For example, Ordenanças should have the same size than Light Infantry. The same happens when you play IMPERIUM GLOBALE and Darthmod:

    I decided to remove factions from being playable because I want to focus only in the (potential) global empires of the 18th century.

    This Mod is great! I play it,whit a lot of other mods, like Darth,smoke,Sounds,Gameplays,Unlockers, and run OK!

    Just checking in to say that this mod is working fine for me too - at 1770.

    I gave away Goa in the first turn , which transports it's troops to Portugal immediately. With these and two turns of building militia, I could march on Madrid and take it. Really tough great siege.

    Many years later I went back to take Goa, with 4 chevron Grenadiers.

    The Cacadones (sp? - early 180 range light inf) are amazing.

    BTW I don't play with Darth, even after requesting it .
