    Nice work !

    Just a side note to say that ''United States of Belgium'' never existed. Belgium wasn't a country before 1830 ( revolution ) and our first king entered Brussel on the 21st july 1831.
    Before that , we were under Dutch domination , merely named "Provinces Belgique Unies" ( wich I'd translate "United Provinces of Belgium" ). Before that there was a french and an austrian domination period too.

    It's abslolutely aweesome! a must try!

    One of the most professional done mods out there.

    And if you want to add a challenging campaign and fun bloody battles with

    there should be another file with the mod called
    user.empire_script

    put that one manually in

    Windows Vista
    C:\Users\(Your User Name Here)\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Empire\scripts

    Windows XP
    C:\Documents and Settings\(Your User Name Here)\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire\scripts


    thats actually what mod manager does for you.

    every mod you want to use has to appear in that file.

    That´s true, but you miss the rebellion on the 1790 like Birdofilo point... That´s why "United States of Belgium" is correct in the game time period...

    Yes but you can only have one user.empire_script in that location!

    if you open user.empire_script with notepad it should show somehting like this:

    mod "name of the mod.pack";

    for every mod you want to use you need a new line like that

    example:

    mod "name of the mod.pack";
    mod "other mod.pack";
    mod "xy_mod.pack";

    in between "" is always the exact name of the mod file

    so with multiple mods you would need to copy paste all the lines into the notepad file.

    The mod is fantastic, but the chilean uniforms in that time were blue you can put in the next version

    Hello, Focomaru ! Thanks for your suggestions !
    I guess I can change the color of the Chilean and Peruvian uniforms, but representing them as they were in the War of the Pacific is a bit out of Empire's time frame. This mod is about the 17th century, so I have to speculate how it would be if the American nations decided to declare their independence in this century, using History as a source of inspiration.
    I also appreciate your faction list. As you can imagine, it’s not easy to include some of those nations because that would require a total conversion of the game. I would like to have all of them in the game but it’s very difficult to me to do that, especially in what concerns to Japan, China and Sian. The Zulus are a very interesting suggestion, and I guess I could try to add them in the game. It’s better to not promise anything about this, I’m going to see what I can do.

    hey guys sorry for this but since i know that theres always people reading here my question is bound to be responded.

    you see guys T_T i cant get to play the game, i just got it yesterday and had the problem of the bar charging to the middle and then started jumping or flikering and you can listen to the sounds and voices in the background and move the mouse but the loading screen is still there T_T have a solution been found or not i have been reading in forums and havent found and answer. please help if not i will not be able to play this great mod and the empires itself.

    Complete wrong forum but try reducing graphic settings, see if it works.

    i know is the wrong forum but some times the never answer you in the others so i tried here and i already tried the lowering to the lowest even turned the game to window mode T_T

    Now, Boicote,

    What is the priority list for the mod, are you going to begin by adding in land (e.g. Brazil, west africa etc...) or by adding more factions?

    I guess I'm confused as to what the mod is going to resemble in the future, it seems like it's been leaning more towards a 'south-america' focused mod, especially with the new factions like the Rio de la Plata and Gran Columbia.

    I would really love the mod to concentrate on the 'metropole' I guess, being mainland Portugal, e.g. expanding the depth and breath of opportunities for playing as the Imperio Portugues, by modding in areas historically associated with it, obviously Brazil, but also west africa and south-east africa, the islands of the indian ocean, perhaps even some of the Indonesian archipelago.

    Pretty much, I'm just being a nosy bastard, but I just love this god damn mod so much,

    I don't why or how, but now my Portugese units are back to the original aqua blue colors.
