    I'm having problems. I double click the icon and the game starts up fine, i can select the grand campaign and a faction, but once i hit continue the bar only fills up to a certain point before dumping me back to the desktop.

    What do you think of this new MOd that add´s a lot of new stuff like, new unit models, new factions, historical battle and caimpaign flags, royal family tree, redesign of militias, dragoons and future espectations?

    Here is the oficial info of this awesome mod created by Boicote:






    IMPERIUM GLOBALE is a mod for ETW about the global empires of the 18th century and theirs overseas possessions. The objectives of this project include the conversion of trade theatres in conquerable regions and the addition of more regions all around the globe to represent the great colonial empires with more realism. This mod is not a total conversion. It’s mainly a vanilla based mod.




    DOWNLOAD and INSTALLATION

    1- Download the mod [LINK 1 (Filefront.com); LINK 2 (sendspace.com)].

    2- IMPORTANT - Before install, please make a backup of the file "startpos.esf". This file is located in the folder C:\...\Steam\steamapps\common\empire total war\data\campaigns\main. If you want to uninstall the mod, you will need to restore this file.

    3- Extract the file IMPERIUM GLOBALE v1.0.exe, double click on it and follow the instructions. NOTE: The installation folder should be the main game folder (C:\...\Steam\steamapps\common\empire total war)

    4- When the installation is completed you will find a new shortcut in your desktop. Double click on it!

    In the original game there are several European units that look like rangers. To bring more realism to the game, the models of the following units were replaced:

    - Conversion of Portugal in an abslotute monarchy
    - Representation of 1755 Lisbon Earthquake




    KNOWN ISSUES


    If you want to play a campaign with Portugal you will notice that there is an annoying fog of war that doesn’t allow you to see your armies and agents. This problem can be easily fixed by moving your characters. To find them click in the “Lists”:

    COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER MODS


    You can play this mod with other mods (to manage you mods I recommend you to use the Mod Manager).
    But note that if the other mod you are using includes the file “units” (in the folder “data/units_tables), then you may have the new units of IMPERIUM GLOBALE unbalanced. If the second mod includes the file “units_stat_land” (in the folder “units_stat_land_tables”), then the new unit models of IMPERIUM GLOBALE will not be shown.

    Why not ? If I have got some free time I will write a tutorial. It’s not difficult to add new factions in custom battles.

    Did you completely mod Haiti into the game, or did you unlock it via the patch manager? I was going to see if I could use Haiti in my mod, and I can't find it in the patch manager :/

    Is Portugal enabled in the custom battle selection, it's so odd, I have the United Provinces of Rio, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Haiti, Peru but no Portugal?

    I'm thinking this is something on my end, but I just-re installed empire about an hour ago so I can't figure for the life of me what's going on here...

    Edit: Nevermind, caught a conflict the mod manager did not, it was a sound mod that was the culprit too!

    Hi Biocote . I didnt see anything in the OP about the naval battles. I wonder if you have looked at what Darth did with them.

    In his mod your 3rd rates cannot turn on a dime. It means that smaller ships have an important role for their maneuverability, and wind direction is even more important. It makes naval battles much more realistic and enjoyable.

    As Portugal is a major seafaring player, it would be sad to just keep the Vanilla battles.

    hi biocote. how can i play the smaller factions like brazil, peru or imperial states? they don't show up, as soon as i start the grand campain. i can only play with major factions including portugal.

    hi biocote. i have the same problem. i have reinstalled the game, i have the latest patch and it still doesn't work, when i start the grand campain aas portugal. i have the german verison of the game, but i don't think that, that is the problem, cause i have been playing the ottoman mod and the prussian mod.
    i can play portugal in the costum battle, inculding all new units, without any problem. i would love to play this great mod!! thanks for your help!

    I've also reinstalled and updated to the latest patch, but it still crashes to the desktop.
