    Default IMPERIUM GLOBALE I







    This mod was remade by ForteS and released as a completely new project known as IMPERIUM GLOBALE II. You can find all the information about this new mod right here.

    Below lists all the information about the previous (and outdated) version of the mod:

    IMPERIUM GLOBALE is a mod for ETW about the global empires of the 18th century and theirs overseas possessions. The objectives of this project include the conversion of trade theatres in conquerable regions and the addition of more regions all around the globe to represent the great colonial empires with more realism. This mod is not a total conversion. It’s mainly a vanilla based mod.


    DOWNLOAD and INSTALLATION


    The current version of the mod is the version 1.04, and it's compatible with the official update 1.5. If you don't have this update, please install it with Steam. Then:

    1- Download the mod: LINK 1 (Filefront.com) or LINK 2 (sendspace.com).

    2- Extract the file IMPERIUM GLOBALE v1.04.exe, double click on it and follow the instructions. NOTE: The installation folder should be the main game folder (C:\...\Steam\steamapps\common\empire total war)

    3- When the installation is completed you will find two shortcuts in your desktop. If you bought the Elite Units of the West DLC then it's advisable to play the Special Edition of the mod. If not, then you should choose the standard version.


    NOTE: You don't need to make backups of your files. The mod is 100% compatible with the original game.




    FEATURES



    Complete redesign of the Portuguese faction

    - Portugal is a playable faction in the grand campaign and in custom battles ( introduction in the campaign included).



    - New units and new uniforms for the Portuguese soldiers:

    - Portugal is now an absolute monarchy (the diplomacy is also adjusted to the new government).

    - A realistic prime-minister and a more competent king were included


    - Brazil is represented as a protectorate of Portugal.

    You cannot see the Brazilian land ( ), but you can interact with this faction in the diplomacy panel.




    - Added victory conditions




    Republican uniforms for France

    If a republican revolution is successful in France, the uniforms will automatically change to a dark blue style.



    The credits of this work go to MrThib and his mod "Révolution Francaise". This mod is no longer compatible with the latest patch, so I updated it, fixed some bugs, and included it in IMPERIUM GLOBALE.

    COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER MODS

    You can play this mod with other mods (to manage you mods I recommend you to use the Mod Manager).
    But note that if the other mod you are using includes the file “units” (in the folder “data/units_tables), then you may have the new units of IMPERIUM GLOBALE unbalanced. If the second mod includes the file “units_stat_land” (in the folder “units_stat_land_tables”), then the new unit models of IMPERIUM GLOBALE will not be shown.




    UNINSTALLATION

    Use the uninstaller program (it's in the main game folder C:\...\Steam\steamapps\common\empire total war).

    For now, only Haiti has completely new units.

    this mod looks great!!! i especially like the portoguese faction!! finally they are historicaly accurate!!! thank you soo much!! is this mod compatible with darth or is?
    did you change anything on ai behaviour?

    ing great mod when south americans provinces will be playable because im from uruguay and i will have an orgasm only thinking that i can play it
    pstd : united provinces of rio de la plata were know after as Argentina and Uruguay ^^ may you can put some uruguayan flags

    Thanks, but I think this mod removes all the fog of war (not only the faction fog of war), am I right?

    I have tested the compatibility between IMPERIUM GLOBALE and darthmod and IS.
    Darthmod includes several changes in the units ( the range, the number of soldiers per unit, etc...). If you play with both mods then the units of IMPERIUM GLOBALE will be very unbalanced when compared with theirs similars (for example, "Ordenanças" will be very different from "light infantry", and they should be similar).
    If you want to play with a second mod I advise you to choose IS. But if you do it, then you will not see the new models included in IMPERIUM GLOBALE (for example, the new models for militias, provincial cavalry, etc...will not be available).

    The new factions will be emergent factions, but I suppose that's going to be possible to create a sub-mod with this factions playable.

    but to make that factions playable you neet to edit the map
    like you say is iompssible to edit the map so etw modders have to wait for CA a heroe or Chuck Norris release a tool
