(OUT NOW !!) 1st Rhode Island Regiment USA Texture

This is a texture for the '1st Rhode Island Regiment'.

From Wikipedia :

The 1st Rhode Island Regiment was a Continental Army regiment from Rhode Island during the American Revolutionary War (1775–1783). Like most regiments of the Continental Army, the unit went through several incarnations and name changes. It became well-known as the "Black Regiment" because, for a time, it had several companies of African American soldiers. It is regarded as the first African-American military regiment.

Not perfect I know but something a little different.

I've not put up a download link up as atm they replace the US grenadiers. What I'd like this that they are just like line infantry (same amount of men ,same stats) and only can be requited in the Rhode Island area.Trouble is I can't mod files in game to save my life so I'm hoping someone may offer to do this (if it's possible).

Anyway let me know what u think ...

This is only my 2nd attempt at doing a texture. I think it's a little early to start doing tutoriales

I think considering you say this is only your second attempt at retexturing, you have done an absolutley superb job here mate. I look foward to being able to download this

That drawing reminds me of that black stage makeup that some people used back then in those old movies...

I dont know if anyones offered this already as I only read the 1st post (I know shame on me) but I could make these into a seperate unit for you if you want, or include them in my "Legopack" thats currently only just started with my 1st unit some British Hussars.

My unit doesnt replace any other units its an added one for the British.

, not complaining thats the great thing about this place.
Anyways if your interested in doing skins for any other units and you want someone to put them into a pack PM me & we'll do lunch.
I am planning of creating some more Hessian units next for recruitment by the British not only in the US but at home (it makes sense as the British would have recruited them in europe and shipped them over to the new world), like some Hussars, Dragoons & Light Infantry.
But I wanted to use some historical pics for them not just keep the blue coats they have in the game currently..
