I just reinstalled my DVD version of ETW but steam does not download the patches. I activated the auto download function, but nothing happens.
Is there a way to manually download the patches or order steam to do it?

try deleting your ClientRegistry.blob whenever steam gets picky about updating or downloading stuff, which seems to happen alot. i had to reboot my pc and delete that blob file this past weekend to get steam to update it was so cranky.
