    Default Winter Battles

Well, I don't know about you, but I really don't like winter battles. The graphics are just too white, i doesn't look pretty at all and hurts my eyes.

I like the graphical changes on the campaign map though. So I'm no moder, but I'm asking people, would it be possible to change winter battles to sommer battles without touching the season-changing on the campaign map?

Another possibility would be to alter the graphics on the battlefield. Perhaps someone could come up with some better snow textures.

    What do you think?

agreed that the battles seasonal effects are too extreme. Winter does not mean snow, or blinding fog. Summer does not mean clear skies and sweltering heat. If a modicum of compromise could be reached that balances the seasonal effect that will be perfect. Of course i say this knowing full well that it wont be me to figure out or change the effects. I'll leave that to the more talented members of TWC. That said, i fully support Tobobu's idea.

Well, with only two seasons you are limited to the results.

For the Civil War, I know we are planning on either 1 week turns or 1 day turns or something in between and we will be creating a season for every turn, this will allow us to have the seasons change slightly every turn.
