Disasters and Diseases?

If you check the main.pack, in the db directory there are three lines about disasters and diseases:

disaster_to_ground_types_tables
disasters_tables
diseases_tables

If you extract them, and open them for example with notepad, you can see, that there are some entries about earthquakes, cholera, etc.
Maybe in some pre-release versions there where deseases and disasters included, but then these features were disabled and left in game files.
I am not a modder, so I don't know if there is any chance of adding them to the game like the the Family tree.

I am curios about your opinions.

I would like to see that implemented. Playing France right now and already at an insanely high population. 25-28M increase a year...
