And what should it be, the right measurement for who must decide if a mod is similar to another?How about a rule where your mod has to be different to others, there are so many mods all doing a similar thing, surely they should be encouraged to work together.
Our current 'great' RAE-mod is similar to vanilla and kingdoms, but these games (kingdoms & vanilla) are allready existent! And so whats about the great mods like SS, DLV, CAE, SuS etc..... are they similar to vanilla, too? Cos they use the same existent world zones in their maps, needless to say - what mods for medieval times should use. Same factions (other names) and nearly the same units (beside some skins).
The world is colorful like it is, due to so many variety. Same must be the TWC policy for selecting mods. If a mod is really good, it should have the same threatment as the other great mods, also when those great mods was written before - it shouldn't and cannot count if it is similar or not.
And keep in mind; the new MOD could be much better than the previous similar mod.
