Stupid diffrent computer

I have an alienware computer and Im clueless where I go to install mods.Most people seem to not have a comp like mine.Please help

It's not the computer, it's the operating system... and make sure you have seeing hidden files/folders turned on..

are you talking about the script file? or where to put the modded files?

the script file in Vista is located

C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Empire\scripts

not sure in vista..... although you could use the mod manager.

how do i do that.also another question I think i found the right place to put my Mughals playable mod but i dont want to extraxt it in fear of crashing my computer.

oh that file is the startpos.esf... you put it in the campaign/main...

i don't see why extracting it would crash your computer...

last time i extracted something i had to reset my computer.Im in the data files is that the right place

data\campaigns\main there will be a file called startpos.esf... back that up somewhere just incase and thats where you put the other file... if the other file is not named startpos.esf you have to rename it to that.

I did extract files,extract here,and extract too playable mughals
