    Most likely they moved the army away or it is in some nearby trees (although I'm not sure there is hiding terrain near Umbar).

    Occasionally (particularly for Harad) general and armies can disappear or turn rebel because their Faction Leader has low Authority.

    I had a question a few pages back about the ring. I wanted to pop on here and add that after playing through a previous save a few times, I've managed to capture the ring and bring it to Rivendell. Next stop, Mount Doom!

    (I'm so excited. How badly am I going to get owned trying to breach the Black Gate?)

    Let's just say that one does not simply walk into Mordor.

    You will need at least 2 full armies if you want to destroy the ring. It will be a really tough battle. Also try not to click on your ring bearer too much. Every time you click on the general with the ring, there is a chance that Gollum will steal it.

    Every time an assassin attempts a mission, there is a chance that your faction leader will gain a point of fear. The higher the fear of your faction leader, the lower your reputation amongst the other factions of Middle Earth. So yes, indirectly using assassins does give you a bad reputation.

    Thanks Wizard. I (dwarves) have a full stack of the meanest shorties my faction can recruit, plus another full stack of regular troops. I will probably have time to recruit a third stack before we attack. I have no enemies and very good relations with everyone but Rhun, so I think I can get away with throwing most of my force against the shadow lands.

    To get around Gollum. I've set the ring-bearer with the faction heir so when I select him, it's really the prince Thorin being selected. I think this will keep it secret and keep it safe, but i've also included two spies as escort just for good measure.

    I guess I'll finally get to meet these Olog Hai that everyone has told me so much about.

    Something very weird happened on the same turn I recovered the Ring. I moved my army out on its way to Mordor, but then I clicked it again, and got a message that the Ring was stolen... huh? How exactly did I lose it in the same turn I got it? And is there any way to prevent losing it?

    Each time you select a general who have the Ring there's a scripted risk, up to 5% IIRC, that Gollum (or someone else depending on where on the map you are) snatch the Ring and you'll have to catch it again

    I am having some trouble forming Arnor and I cant figure out why.

    I currently have all required regions (Shire is sovereign if that makes a difference), Gondor is an ally, Aragorn is still alive, Annuminas just became a large city and I built the Stone walls, but it wont let me make a House of Kings. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    I think Annuminas must be your capital and you have to upgrade it to huge city (26000 population) so you can build Hall of Kings, in order to get Hall of Kings available for construct you need to build Large Stone walls.

    no not capital i think but as said the 26000 population and a really huge amount of gold.

    i have recently installed MOS 1.41 and wish to go back to TATW 3.2 , but am stuck on wether you have to completly reinstall everything again or not ? PLZZ HELP !!!

    After I have destroyed the One Ring, should it and Gollum still remain in the generals retinue?
