That is quite hard to do in the beginning concerning your opponents for OotMM :/ I've found that Orc generals don't have good mortality rates, but then again, what orc does?
On another topic, why isn't Isengard available as a custom battle map?

Thank you I will look into it more in the mos sub mod section.
Its turn 140 and I still haven't gotten the message that the One Ring has been found. Is there a file I can edit to increase my chances of getting the event? Im playing as Mordor btw.
Can't you recruit mercenary trolls in Trollshaws and Ettenmoors if you're an evil faction? I can.
I tried to find it on other topics and it must past me for sure .If i capture the One Ring with Gondor what happen?
its turn 300 for my mordor campaign and i still havent gotten the one ring event. frustrated as hell, i decided to give up on that campaign. To see if something was wrong, I edited the campaign_script and made it so that good factions have a 99% chance of getting the one ring event instead of that ridiculously small 7%. In my current Gondor campaign, its turn 30 and the one ring pop up still hasnt shown up. its at NINETY-NINE PERCENT, so either I am extremely unlucky and am getting the 1% each time, or something is wrong with my game...
Help please.

Does the other scripts work properly? If you really made it 99% it should have come by now unless you did something wrong with the file...Also, remember you have to restart after changes in campaign_script
And deleted map.rwm?
Might be a corrupted campaign_script you have..

Nope, if campaign_script had errors no scripts would work, and one would notice that quickly.
Eh, it may be me- unlike you two, I am no modder- but no matter the % chance does it not have to be at least Turn 40 or something like that for the Ring to pop up?
The other scripts DO work. The Palantiri event comes up, the diplomacy script works, etc. Also, I edited the script so that it would come up on or after turn 2. Maybe I messed up somewhere while editing my campaign_script? I posted the part I edited under spoilers here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...=502185&page=4.
Did I do something wrong?
Not to break the flow but is there any way I can get Isengard as a custom battle map for 3.2?
Can I get an unmodified campaign_script from anyone please?
Returning to the wonder that is Third Age after a year plus absence and have a simple question. Starting from install of med 2 TW, what are the patches I need? Is it Med 2 TW patch 1.2, Kingdoms, patch 1.4 and 1.5? Then Third Age. Just been a long time and can not easily find info. Thanks.
Medival 2 Kingdoms patched up to either 1.4 or 1.5
Then TATW 3.0 part 1 and part 2 + TATW 3.1 + TATW 3.2

A question regarding arrows.
I read somewhere recently that standard arrows deal normal damage and fire arrows are AP (armor piercing) - which I did not know.
Up until now, I thought fire arrows only real use was to lower enemy morale and that they took longer to fire. (oh and they look cool at night)
In anybodies opinion then, would fire arrows at close range to Trolls/Olog Hai (while they are caught up fighting against infantry) be more effective than normal arrow volleys?
Also I could have this completely wrong.
I'm not entirely sure, but I do remember reading before that there are some technical issues of adding all custom battle maps in custom battles, that are only a limited combinations of culture and settlement level. Another possibility is that the developer did not want it to be placed in custom battle and instead get the player to experience on the campaign map in a more immersed atmosphere.
