Rules:
The game will start in Spring,1560. There will be 4 seasons in a year, so each turn will be 1 season.
After each chapter, I will PM your clan report to you with ideas of what you should do. You can always add on to them! You will have a little more then a week (8 days) to do your diplomacy In-Thread (PM is prefer if you are planning to attack someone. Just forward us the details).
A player can PM other players with their diplomatic offers, with nonplayable Clans PM me or {BHC} King Jan III Sobieski. Players can also demand submission to Vassal for other clans or submit themselves if the other player accepts via diplomacy. This means that when submitting the player continues playing the game with limited options under the rule of the player they have submitted to. When a player conquers another player or non-playable faction, he can make them his vassal, or destroy them. A Playable faction, that player can surrender, fight to the death, or commit seppku or try to flee (if able to). If they become vassals, you can still fight, just under your ruler.
If the players reach a deal in diplomacy they should make a public announcement about it.If the deal is secret one,all you need to do is for other of the deal makers to PM me or my brother {BHC} King Jan III Sobieski about it,so I can take the deal in account. During the second week I will write the new chapter and post it in the end of that week or following weekend. The first playable factions are:

Economy
If you wish to, you may build certain things for your clan. But first off, I talk about the koku. Each Man, Samurai or Ashigaru will cost 1 koku. So if you have a income of 40,000 koku and you get a army of 40,000 koku, then you have nothing left.
Here are prizes for buildings you can build:
Church/Temple: 1,000 Koku (Can increase happines)
Teppo factory 8,000 Koku (starts construction of your own teppos, first about 200 per season, later cannons etc. and increases its production.)
Castle upgrade 5000 koku (makes you stand sieges longer and betters the training of your men)
The castle sizes are from smallest to largest:
simple
small
medium
large
huge
Simple castle can hold out about 1 1/4 year of siege if well supplied, small about 1 1/2 of year, medium one and three quarters, large one can hold out two years and huge about 2 and one quarter years.
Ship for your fleet 100 koku( each ship can carry 100 men.) Annual upkeep for each ship you have is 15 koku.
Each building takes an year to finish, you can build up to 12 ships per season on your coastal provinces.
For example if you can draft 30,000 men in maximum, you can start building teppo factory during spring, but after that you only have resources left to maintain army of 22,000 untill its completed after an year.
Portuguese and other traders to Japan.
European traders arrive each Spring to Kuyshu. From there they move to Honshu and Shikoku during summer. They carry muskets and cannons as their merchandise, but not enough for all Japan, so depending on the Western Daimyos, the Eatern lords might not get any. Here are the prizes of their products. Be wary, they also go to China and Korea also........
musket 8koku
cannon 400 koku

How Chapters will work here. When the deadline is set, you may do your diplomacy in thread. However, if you are planning to attack someone, and want to make it known, then just do it in thread. However, if you want it to be a suprise, PM the other player, and forward me the details. This is not like a allaince game where you post your troop movements in a thread. DO NOT do that in this game. Interactive Histories are simliar to Allaince games, but they are a bit different. DO NOT post your troops movements in thread, or your clan is going to have a bad suprise. PM me your troop movements.
Once the chapter is written, we will sticky it here in this forum. You may post your intial in-character thoughts in the chapter thread. You may then start (public) diplomacy in the chapter thread or prefably in your faction thread. The Wars/History forum will be used by us. After the chapter is written, we will go into detail more about the battles that take place, and we will place the History of the Story of this IH as we progress though it!
Dules/Assaintion:
If you want to kill someone, you may do so.Each clan has people of the "shady business". So tell me how many Senior Samurai and/or Ninjas to do the job. If you are inviting the leader over for a diplomatic meeting, you may try to kill him then, but it will be harder. Also, If you like to have a duel with a rival leader and/or their heir, you may do so and name the location. Note that the chance of being killed "unfairly" in a duel will pose a threat!
