I thought you already asked on another post if you should play it? but 7.0 is a oldy but goodie and a great game! maybe you should play 7.0 until 8.0 comes out that way you will be OCCUPIED. you can also see what they changed and imporved onso 8.0 will be all the better.

What version of RTW do you have, pray tell? Check TW's official site. They have all necessary patches and such.

As already stated, your gold RTW-BI should be already patched to v1.6. In that case your game will be completely updated. Just to make sure that it is, check it out. To do this, on the menu screen of the Barbarian Invasion game, click the campaign option, when the campaign screen is shown, check the version on the upper-right side of the screen. If the number shown is 'v 1.6', then you don't need any other patches and are ready to go .
