Hi I appreciate it can be daunting at first searching for mods, a, but mostly you have to search yourself to get the mods, painstaking and it can take hours but that's what most members do.

Hope this helps and happy mod hunting to you sir.
well thats the problem the link doesnt work. Thanks anyway. Does anyone know an alternate website to get it from?
You need to extract the .rar file and then put the .pack file that gets extracted in the data folder and then activate. http://www.rarlab.com/]alright im new - i have modmanager but the only files working are the sikh.pack because it came saying ".pack" windows blocks it whenever its a ".rar" programGo to the link and download winrar. Install it on your pc and then right click on the .rar file and it should say "extract here" or "Extract Files" just press either one and you will have extracted it

OMG why are you even asking questions like this in this forum... go to the MOD WORKSHOP NOT RELEASED MODS... Geeeeezlol I have one last request!!! how do I change certain unit size? I would like to know how to edit units, and would I be able to make the general unit to only 3 and artillary to have only one artillery peice init?? anyway to do this.
I realise I may be going a step to far now in asking for mods, so wont mind if I'm rejected.
Oh and thanks to everyone for your help etc etc..

I posted about this elsewhere as well, but my priority element to these games is historical accuracy. Thus I am looking for a mod striving for it, or that has it. Does anyone know if there is one in the making or hosted here that fits that? I would be willing to even help make one as I am a Military Historian. thanks for any constructive input!
I have already discussed this^ as I am new I am just learning where to go, and as I stated I do not beleive those aareas are as acctive as this paticular board!.

Hope that helped
There isnt a single overhauling mod that does that, yet
In general Just get the mods you think are historical and fun to you, fiddle around with them till you get the immersion you are looking for!
I recommend to start downloading retextures and newly created units, smoke, blood and differnt kinds of soundmods for starters, then look to other categories like battle related mods, overhauling mods, timeframe mods etc
heres what you need:

and for starters the mods in my signature of course(i do only like realism myself)
Good luck and have Fun mate

You just need to piece it together. There are several completed and WIP historical accuracy reskin mods for Sweden, Prussia, Holland, Saxony, Portugal, Courland, France, Austria, Spain, Russia, Poland, the Italian States and Ottoman Turkey which you would have to go through one by one, to check for both quality and accuracy;
"European Wars", the "SYW" mod and the "Proper Militia" mod are probably the best place to start; the "Seven Years War" mod removes backpacks, adds pole-arms for officers and removes the caveman beards from officers for every faction (though this makes it incompatible with some reskins); "European Wars" also adds an expansive roster of "Early Era" troops, as well as numerous reskins; The "Proper Militia" mod changes out Militia and Provincial Cavalry to have tricorn hats instead of Berets, and in some cases they are reskinned to have fairly historically accurate "Garrison Regiment" uniforms.
And the Hannover and Wurttemburg mods by Pom, plus the new Sverige mod by Preussens Gloria and the Elite Prussian Units mod by pollux, all add new historically accurate (or as close to it as possible with limited tools) units as well as reskins (in the case of Pom's mods, full faction reskins). These are some of my favourites, and some of the simpler (easier to handle) mods. The best way to find stuff out is to spend (a lot of) time looking for it.
As far as rolling all these small mods together, or creating one big historical accuracy mod, that would be tough just because of how much stuff needs to be done.
