The latest Darthmod also increases unit sizes...
I've seen several mods that change Frances uniforms to the proper darker blue color after the revolution. Which one is the best?
Some things I'm looking for:
-Uniforms (with the exception of unique monarchy units) change automatically after revolution in campaign
-In late period custom battles, the French army is the revolutionary one (to match the flag change)
-The full unit roster changes (again, with the exception of unique monarchy units)
Any suggestions are appreciated!
Well... my modesty usually forbids me to indulge in self-promotion, but as today is July 14 I'll make an exception
We've just released the new v1.50 version of The Rights of Man, which includes a complete overhaul of Republican France.
The Rights of Man v1.50 Bastille Day edition - A happy 14 juillet to all our French friends!
NEW FEATURES:
* Unique unit roster for French republic: French units are converted to a republican variant when France becomes a republic in the campaign
* French units replaced with republican units in Custom Battles (Late Era)
* New skins for French Dragoons (monarchy) and Bulkeley's Regiment (Special Edition only)
* New units: French colonial artillery (12lb cannon and howitzer), they replace the generic artillery in the Colonies
KNOWN ISSUES:
* Appointed French generals are not converted to the new model after a revolution; starting generals and generals you recruit from buildings work correctly
* French units on campaign map are still displayed in white after a revolution
* Note that if you are playing an ongoing campaign, not all units will be converted after a revolution; this works correctly in new campaigns
Basically every French unit will be converted into a republican variant after a succesful revolution - so they get the blue uniforms, specific officers, etc.
Most of the French skins (also in the above screenshot) were made by Amiral_Bruix, Mr Thib and Gerard Duval, so give them +rep for letting us use their work.

im looking for a mod that reduces the upkeep and/or recruitment for troops/ships. i know the radious mod does that, but i dont want unlimited elite unit recruitment.
any mods that do that?
thanks.
Check out the Mod Lethal:Gods and Generals it will take care of what you are looking for reducing recruitment and upkeep costs across the board to insure large scale conflict while raising building construction and repair coss to insure your money intake does not become overwhelming
i have used a couple differant ones Im currently using MrThibs revolutionary mod but they do not overwright the old units i think they add the revolutionary units to the roster I dont think there is any way to change lets say the normal line infantry uniforms they would just use that skin all the time revolution or not.
wow thanks! pity it still has to be updated for 1.3, but looks promising!
There is a way, i found a mod that did it once. I loved the infantry skins, they were amazing butwasnt to keen on the cavalry, cant remember who it was by though.
Posted this in the wrong place first, Apologies.
Hello all...have been searching but didn't find anything.
In case I'm just blind...could anyone tell me if there is a complete overhaul mod for ETW that reverts back to medieval or ancient times using the new system? I don't know if anyone else feels the same, but I was very disappointed with many areas and the whole package in general of ETW...just my opinion.
If anyone knows of anything in progress or completed that falls anywhere near what I'm looking for I'd appreciate a head's up. Thanks a bundle.

even though it has not been fully updated it still changes enough during the game that it will do what you are looking for even in its current state, and the new elite units not having their prices changed will suit well enough for now for they are only limited to 1 recruitment anyway,so it will make no difference to your grand scheme of things.give it a go
hmmm..... apparently the mod also makes unlimited recruitment of elites. what if i dont want that? the Check and Mate mod looks good, and doesnt make unlimited recruitment, but also is not up to date.
I know RN marines wore red onboard but not the naval officers. Has anyone modded these to blue or how can I do it ? Minor point but it would irritate me playing GB
