Hi, You just have to read the Sticky how to add a unit tutorial.

I think the unit editor in the tools area are able to do this too but im not sure cause i never used it. Althoug i strongly suppose so, cause the unit table the editor changes are the table which contains the range value.

range is attached to weapon. so you have to add a new weapon (just copy musket_flintlock) for example in the projectiles table and name it something else musket_flintlock1.

you can edit the range of a weapon already created but by doing so every unit that uses that weapon will have the benefit of the range.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

modify the range to whatever you want using pack_manager

then change the value for weapon for the unit in unit_stats_land

You need to edit the projectiles db, to my knowledge the PackFileManager is the only editor that can read that table.

    Yes he is right!
Sorry i pict the wrong table, projectile are the right one.

Wich also means you cant use unit editor, cause he only adds the unit table.

Unit Editor is is pretty much worthless because of P.F.M.

P.F.M can edit the same stuff and also repack extract and create Mod type pack files that are easy to use with the Mod Manager.
