    Default Multiplayer Options

    Hi All

    I am looking to purchase Empire Total War but I am wondering if it has a multiplayer co-operative feature when playing multiplayer?

    Age Of Empires 1 and 2 has a multiplayer feature were two humans can control the same units on the map at the same time. Does Empire Total War have this same feature? Or are you only able to control different team/countrys.

    No, you can't control the same units as your teammates. You can, however, play with friends against the AI in unranked battles.

    Also, CA has said before the release, that they would bring out a patch where you could play the campaign in multiplayer. But seeing the amounts of bugs in the game, i don't think it's coming very soon. Maybe in the expension.

    Thanks for the reply Alphawolf. I will keep a look out of this update. I hope it will allow us to control the same units as this is a really good way to play team games with new comers.
