PhotoShop dds error

I downloaded the nvdia plugin for photoshop cs3 to open up the dds texture files, and it works, but i cant save the files i work on.

i get this error

Error:To many channels to export(5)

anyway to fix it?

Flatten the image first, and delete the alpha channel if it is not needed (refer to vanilla files for reference).

make sure your working in RGB not CYMK as DDS's use RGB and Alpha, I'd sugest always working in RGB with only a single Alpha channel. You shouldnt need to flatten the image...

i am, eh, its working now, i dont know why.

That's a bug in the exporter I think, if you save as a psd or targa then restart photoshop and open the file and try to save as dds, it should work.
