IM HORRIBLE AT INSTALLING MODS!

I really want to install the mod that allows all factions but I cant.The reason is I just want recruitable bowmen.Can anyone post a simple guide for a noob at modding on how to do it.

Do you need help installing the faction mod or do you just want recruitable bowmen?

If so, you just move the startpos.esf located in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\empire total war\data\campaigns\main to somewhere safe then take the startpos.esf file from the download and put it where the original used to be.

Now, if you just want recruitable bowmen, you can try out this thread (I would recommend getting familiar with the pack file manager first)

It looks really confusing, believe me, I know (I just got around to using the tools today) but once you've messed with the pack files for a little bit, it isn't so bad.I've already edited some stuff successfully, though, I haven't pushed myself to edit the rosters yet.Just make sure you back up all the pack files before you go editing them
