How do I change religion of faction?

I am trying to change a Catholic faction to Orthodox. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

With the ESF editor open the startpos.esf then find the faction under the FACTION_ARRAY is a string for religion pointing to the db name of a religion.

Do I need to do anything else? Like changing catholic priest to orthodox priest in a unit file or changing the churches in a building file?

Yes you would want to change the type of church available for building though I'm not sure where it is. Probably in the patch.pack -> DB -> something with buildings in it.

Hmmmm Ok.

It is getting a little complicated for me.

Its not a big deal for me to play as a catholic, I just wanted to build a story behind my game to make it more interesting for me.
