Default No armour value = no medieval/rome type of mods?

Anyone have any info on this?
I really hope CA was considerate enough to leave the possibility open to mod armour values into the game but i'm doubtful.

So that you can make the units have better armor? That sounds a little silly, as the soldiers during 18th century didnt really wear any armor.

However, it would be nice with some weapon upgrades, and some military schools, that would give recruited units some experience.

he means for medieval mods. i think someone mentioned a shield value is in the game. probably works the same as armor.

There is at least armorvalues in the game. If you check the line before armor_type in unit_stat_tables you have a number that is 3 for leather armor and 7 for plate at least...this could be the armor value.

Nodey, I think perhaps the defense value that units have are for melee so that might be considered an "armor"value.

Well, you can choose between leather and plate armor, that much I do know.

Also, melee defense is present as well as the unkown column that if you check ghoorkas or something with a shield, the shield value is also there.

If anyone has any questions, let me know! I'll see if I can help point out these values inthe PackFileManager.

    Hope this helps!
