    Is it possible? For example: instead of copper hulls giving range on campaign map, you could give it hull HP. Or maybe improve platoon fire a bit. Heck even change -5% chance of misfire to +5% reload speed.

    It is. Check out my tutorial thread on how to add technologies.

    You would edit technology_effects_junction and either add a row to add a new effect + the old one to a technology, or simply modify one of that tech's old rows.
